Our artisans carve the fine, interwoven knotwork one line at a time — a pattern that takes patience and a steady hand to get right — then hand-polish every piece to a soft, natural sheen. The final finish uses only pure mineral oil and beeswax — no synthetic lacquer — so the wood stays true to what it is: real ebony that only grows richer with age.
