Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting Ebony Wood Art. Every piece is handcrafted from genuine ebony wood by artisans in our Vietnam workshop, and we take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@ebonywoodart.com. Please note that approved returns may need to be sent to our workshop in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. However, for damaged, defective, or incorrect items, we will offer an appropriate resolution, including a replacement or refund, without requiring the item to be returned.

Important Note: Customers are responsible for paying their own return shipping fees for change-of-mind returns. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

2. Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. Contact us within 7 days of delivery if your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. Please include clear photos or a short video so that we can assess the problem and arrange a replacement or another appropriate solution at no extra cost.

3. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned:

• Custom or Personalized Products: Any products that have been custom-engraved, personalized with names, or custom-carved based on your specific photos cannot be returned or refunded.
• Sale Items: Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

4. Natural Material Disclaimer

Because genuine ebony wood is a natural material and every piece is handcrafted, slight variations in wood grain, texture, color, and carving details are normal. These natural differences make each piece unique and are not considered defects.

5. Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

6. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification, in accordance with applicable laws. The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

7. Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know whether your refund has been approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to process and post the refund.
