This isn't wood freshly cut from a tree. The ebony used for this crucifix once lived a different life — reclaimed from antique furniture such as old jewelry boxes and vanity tables. Wood like this has rested and settled for decades, so it's naturally denser and more stable than new-cut ebony, which is often still "green" after only a few months of drying. What you're holding has already stood the test of time.

Made By Hand, Not By Machine Alone

Each crucifix begins with CNC precision, then is finished entirely by hand. Our artisans carve the fine details — the folds of the robe, the expression, the texture of the wood grain — one by one, then hand-polish every piece to a soft, natural sheen. No two pendants are ever perfectly identical, because no two hands carve exactly the same way.

The final finish uses only pure mineral oil and beeswax — no synthetic lacquer — so the wood stays honest to what it is: real, breathing ebony that will only look richer with age.

On the back of the pendant, we can engrave a name, a date, or a short message of your choosing — up to 16 characters. A quiet way to carry someone's name, or a verse that matters to you, close to your heart.
