The Good Shepherd Cross Necklace is inspired by the pastoral crucifix associated with Pope Francis, featuring the powerful image of Christ as the Good Shepherd.

Each pendant is individually crafted from reclaimed ebony wood, giving this cross a warm, naturally aged character that is difficult to reproduce with newly cut wood.

Our ebony is salvaged from older, high-quality wooden furniture and decorative pieces such as vintage jewelry boxes, dressing tables, and other fine woodwork. Because the wood has already aged naturally over many years, it has a stable, dense character that makes it especially well suited for detailed carving.

Handcrafted from Reclaimed Ebony Wood

The cross begins as a piece of carefully selected ebony wood.

The intricate design is first CNC carved to establish the fine details, then refined by hand by our artisans. Every surface is carefully sanded, polished, and finished by hand to bring out the natural depth and character of the ebony.

The pendant is finished with pure refined mineral oil and natural beeswax, without a painted or plastic coating. This preserves the natural appearance and feel of the wood while giving the surface a smooth, subtle sheen.

Because each piece is made from natural reclaimed wood and finished by hand, slight variations in grain, color, and texture are natural and make every cross unique.

Adjustable Waxed Leather Cord Included

Each cross comes with a waxed leather necklace cord with an adjustable sliding design, allowing you to comfortably adjust the length to your preference.
